News coming in of yet another case of an Indian production company making a film in the UK and then stiffing its cast or crew. This one being Yashraj Films (CEO Akshaye Widhani), the film having a working title of Project 79 (details to come).

The shoot involved a number of Supporting Artists who all gave their time and work in good faith but are now finding that the casting company (Rachita Kapoor Casting/Forcast) are only paying what they owe in occasional dribs and drabs.

In this case the casting company is blaming the production company and the production company is blaming the casting company, a dispute which is of supreme indifference to the individuals involved who simply want to get paid what they’re owed (in full) for the work they’ve done.

It remains to be seen when or whether either or both of these two organisations are going to sort themselves out but in the meantime the message is:
