Nana Ama Ofori-Atta is, according to herself at least, a multi-talented individual, describing herself on her own Linkedin page as an “Entrepreneur, Film Producer and Author, International media consultant, Line Producer, Producer and Executive Producer, Author, Storyteller and Community leader”.
“Freeloader” is not one of the words she uses, however that is probably the most accurate description given her recent behaviour, according to the many freelancers who have become her victims in the last six months.
These are the crew members who worked on her recent vanity production Jacksons of Milton Keynes, made by her company Timed Film Productions. This is a “TV series” which has yet to grace any kind of screen - small or large - or even her own Imdb page), but for which they are still waiting to be paid by this Entrepreneur, Film Producer, Author, International media consultant etcetera etcetera etcetera.
Ofori-Atta is currently facing a number of county court actions for this, including ones awarded against her which she has so far entirely ignored. She also seems entirely immune to any of the many desperate emails sent to her by these freelancers who need the money she owes them to pay for rent, food and supporting their families etcetera etcetera.
Inter all the alia above she also claims an MBA (irony or ironies) awarded by “Hult Ashridge Executive Education” and is also a joint custodian of public monies as part of her role as a Milton Keynes local councillor. The financial skills which were (presumably) taught to her by the former and the fiscal rectitude expected of her in the latter role seem to have had very little effect on her behaviour in her private life (or very public life if the huge number of social media pages and personal websites are anything to go by).
If anyone is wating to be paid by Ofori-Atta for their work on this production or any other, then do feel free to get in touch. A joint action might be the only way forward to get the money owed, or maybe a sit down demo in the Milton Keynes council chamber where this Lib Dem public servant is spending her time, rather than putting in some hard graft behind a till somewhere to get the money to pay her bills.
