Stuart died on 13th April 2021

He became a freelance director after leaving the BBC where had worked for many years, as a camera operator, vision mixer and then director.

He was one of the launch directors on BBC Breakfast Time and went on to work in entertainment with shows like Parkinson, The Royal Variety and Children in Need. Stuart was very well regarded by his colleagues in the industry and is much missed in the studio and on OB's.
