If you’re one of those people who prefers to get paid when you’ve done a day’s work (OK yes, that’s everyone) then you may want to stay away from an individual called Jubel Faruk.

Faruk - who styles himself as a “digital creator” - recently used the services of a videographer for a day’s work. However when it came to settling the bill for his services, he went strangely quiet. Repeated messages failed to raise any response (strange that because he was very keen to talk when he wanted the work done) and it seems that he has now skipped off without paying.

Jubel Faruk is a repeated advertiser of work on Facebook, mostly on the UK Film Jobs page. A strong warning then - don’t assume that, if you do take work with this character, that he will necessarily actually pay for what he gets.
