The @griersontrust’s new entrant training scheme, Grierson DocLab is back!
Supporting 12 successful trainees as they embark on the early stages of their careers in factual TV and documentary, the programme seeks UK-based new entrants aged 18-25 with a passion for docs to apply.
This prestigious initiative includes intensive training, a work placement at a production company, a full industry delegate pass to Sheffield DocFest, an industry mentor, plus supported continuing professional development.
The Grierson Trust has an established track record of supporting under-represented groups in the factual TV industry and therefore particularly encourage applications to all schemes from: those from lower socio-economic backgrounds; disabled people; those from ethnic minority backgrounds; people from the LGBTQ+ community and more.
Deadline for applications is Friday, 24 February at 5pm.
There is also a free Zoom webinar coming up this Wednesday, 15 February 2023, at 6pm, during which we will hear from some of our most recent trainees about their experience of the training, work placements and more.
